About MamaPod

As you may have guessed I am not usually known as MamaPod, I am in fact Sonia, early 30's from Coventry in Warwickshire. I am Mrs Pod to Mr Pod, we have been together for nearly 10 years and married for nearly 3 and it is him I have to thank for my lovely, adaptable surname - Podmore! I am though full time MamaPod to the adorable and ever amusing Jack 4.5 years and soon to be with us Baby Pod - due February 15th 2012! Oh yes, and how could I get forget Tallulah, the very cute, but naughty kitten and we all live peacefully in our cosy, but overflowing maisonette!

I am hoping my blog will be a flurry of coherent ramblings on parenthood, pregnancy and day to day lifestyle interests. Featuring some of my favourite things (please see below) and reviews on what others hopefully may also find interesting and useful. I am a member of BritMums and I will always blog with integrity and ensure my readers are aware if I have received any products or payment for reviews.

Things I like:

sunshine, holistic therapies, cake, shopping for clothes and make-up, vintage, lie-ins, weddings, elephants, meals out, meals in, photography, making crafty things and yummy things, candles, my family, writing, Pinterest, pretty little shops, the seaside, Greek food, reading, gardening and growing veg! (Did I say cake!)

Things I don't like:

rain, supermarket shopping on a Saturday, people who think they are always right, racism, bullying, the news, falling over in public, uncontrolable blushing, tantrums, waking up in the night, getting up in the morning, busy shopping centres. (I'm sure I will be back to update this at some point).
